The Battle Against Crime: What Are the Injustices We Face Today?
The ongoing struggle against crime and injustices has become increasingly widespread, particularly in the current generation.
Daily injustices encompass unfair access to healthcare, with significant disparities still existing in terms of coverage and access, particularly in relation to mental health issues. One of the most pressing social justice challenges is the establishment of universal healthcare, which aims to ensure that all individuals have access to necessary treatments without facing financial burden.
Additionally, racial injustice represents a significant adversity in our society, highlighting the urgent need for systemic change. Many individuals have endured immense discrimination, abuse, and violence. Speaking of violence, gun violence, including the devastating impact of events like mass shootings in schools, has caused significant danger and crisis in affected communities.
Ultimately, rape is also an injustice we face today. A shocking fact is that around 10-14 % of married woman in the United States have been maltreated and sexually abused by their husbands. In addition is child abuse and neglect which have been such a devastating situation for the youth. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), up to one-quarter of adults were abused and molested as children.
Granted, fat shaming and human trafficking have also emerged, underscoring the discriminative practices individuals face based on weight or appearance, and the consistent combat against human rights violations continues. In connection, stereotyping also has caused prejudice and discrimination.
Finally, injustices gradually continue to erode and eradicate humanity. Other than the issues mentioned, there are still numerous others that deserve attention and concern.
Lessening and Declining Crime and Injustices
There’s always a solution to every problem, and there’s always a light that ignites the dim.
One great way to reduce crime, prevent it, and fight against it is to build community-based organizations. Gang activity through immoral acts can also be prevented through this beneficial approach. Another way to reduce crime is investing in these civic goods without negatively impacting the criminal justice system. Improving surveillance around homes, businesses, or public places is vital to improving safety and security. Enhancing education and support programs also bends the criminal trajectory curve.
Furthermore, policies and laws by the government should be revisited to guide the decline of crime and injustices. Perhaps discussing the pervasive issue of poverty will also help individuals live a meaningful life, driving them away from committing crimes. The fact is poverty has always been a driving force of crime and violence. When individuals lack money and cannot sustain themselves because of poverty, they are left with an option to commit immoral acts.
Ultimately, contributing to the decline of crime and injustices starts with all of us taking action. Educating ourselves about this matter, raising awareness, and encouraging small acts of kindness that bring about change for the better are essential ways to ignite hope in humanity.

The world is becoming more unsafe. This serves as a reminder for us to always be cautious.
A friend of mine lent me his book “Quinns Dilemma” and I find it really awesome. I wish I could watch this on the big screen soon. This has to be adapted into film. Can’t wait to share this book to my other friends too. May you catch the attention of biggest producers in Hollywood. Can’t wait to see your book on the New York Times Magazine and LA Times as well, and of course be reviewed by famous book reviewers such as Pacific Book Review and Indie Book Review.
This book has a long way to go.
I am starting to become a fan of this author. I hope I could watch an interview of him and know more about him.
